HOW TO APPLY FOR A
FREE CHARITY WEBSITE
How it works
Any Charity recognised by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission can apply with us for a free website.

Your website will be built by volunteer students from the University of Western Australia, under the guidance of professional designers. The website will be a professional representation of your Charity and is built to create awareness for your charity, to promote your cause and to increase donations.
Managing Expectations
At Sites4Good we are able to cover designing your website, creating donation links, setting up Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and setting up the domain for your website. However, it is important to note that we do not cover ecommerce options, due to the website requiring a different Wix plan that is not covered by the free Wix coupon. We also limit the number of pages to 5 pages per charity in order to make sure that we can complete your website in the limited time that we have in the semester.
Our process
Once you have completed the application form, and the semester starts, a Sites4Good staff member will email you to get to know your charity and work out the plan for your basic free website. Terms and conditions agreement and a detailed description of the process will be included.
1
A production team starts building the site and working with you on delivering a website that would both do the job and is to your liking.
3
To start with we just need a few great photos, content from an exiting site or brochure, and a logo from you, if you have one. Do not worry about having everything ready from the start. The website can and should be updated regularly by you after we hands it over to you.
2
Handover and training to get you to the stage in which you are comfortable managing your website yourself.
